Hawaii lawmakers push bill that would shine a light on police misconduct

House bill 285 would require county police departments to reveal the identity of a suspended or discharged officer in its annual reports. Right now, the reports only outline misconduct, discipline and whether a grievance procedure has ended. The State of Hawaii Organization of Police Officers has filed testimony in opposition of the bill.

Mokulele Airlines to Layoff 10 Percent of Workforce

Maui family seeks help in preparing for young girl’s double lung transplant
