X-ray equipment issues slow down Kahului Airport security checkpoints

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is warning those traveling through Kahului Airport (OGG) of major delays due to x-ray equipment issues. NOAA received a report of a vessel colliding with a humpback whale in south Maui waters on Wednesday. Hawaii lawmakers push bill that would shine a light on police misconduct

House bill 285 would require county police departments to reveal the identity of a suspended or discharged officer in its annual reports. Right now, the reports only outline misconduct, discipline and whether a grievance procedure has ended.
