Maui Hotels Add Enhanced Sanitation

Maui hotels are ramping-up for the return of guests and visitors now that trans-pacific travel is slated to reopen on October 15th, with verified testing and health restrictions/requirements. As you can imagine many improvements have been put in place to ensure the wellbeing of both visitors and resort associates welcoming guests to their home away from home.

Over the past 7 months carefully examined protocols have been put into place and vigorous sanitation guidelines also enacted. Here’s a brief look at two resorts, one in Kapalua and one in Wailea that have stepped-up their on-site medical care efforts and complete wellness initiatives.

Beginning November 20, Four Seasons Resort Maui will provide round the clock medical care on-site 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Guests needing medical attention or urgent care assistance will rest assured knowing a team of medical professionals are available including a board certified emergency mobile physician.

New at the resort each guest will indulge in individual  air purification units in each room. The purification units allow for entire room cleansing every 30 minutes and include a HEPA filter as well.

Meanwhile, at Montage Kapalua Bay aiming to open this Thursday, increased sanitation efforts include technologies like UV cleansing wands and the use of electrostatic sprayers to better clean and disinfect. Guests will also receive complimentary hand sanitizer and face coverings will be provided to all guests along with disinfectant wipes that can be used during their stay.

While limiting physical contact with others guests will also find an array of contact-less options but in the case of check-in or car valet…registration cards, room keys and pens will be UV sanitized along with valet attendants also disinfecting the touch spots such as steering wheel, ignition, turn signal and door handles in and out of the car.
