Weakening cold front keeps Wind Advisory in place until evening

Winds will be up today and so will the chance of showers.

A band of showers from an old cold front will ride in the gusty trades.

That will mean a cloudier and cooler Sunday. For windward and mauka areas, there will also be numerous showers. Leeward sides could also see some rain thanks to the windy weather blowing the showers into lee areas.

Expect ENE winds of 15-30 mph Sunday.

Along with the clouds from the weakening cold front, high clouds will be over the state. So expect afternoon high temperatures to be on the cool side – only warming up to the low-to-mid 80s.
