MFD Responds to Storage Building Fully Engulfed in Flames


At around 8:40 p.m. on Sunday, Maui Fire Department crews responded to the scene of a structure fire in the Kula Ag Park. f

Upon arrival, the approximately 2,500 square foot storage building was fully involved in flames. Officials say the structure housed farm materials and equipment.

The fire was controlled at 10:03 p.m. and deemed extinguished at around 12:44 a.m.

MFD reports that damage estimates were not yet available. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Engine 13, Engine 5, Engine 10, Hazmat 10, Tanker 10, and Tanker 14 responded to this incident.
