Haiku Warrant Leads to Commercial Promotion of Marijuana Arrest

Maui Police Department Crime Reduction Officers executed a search warrant at a residence off Hana Highway in Haiku on Wednesday.

As a result of the search, 76 marijuana plants, over a gram of processed marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were recovered.

Police say two juveniles were also found in the house during the search.

Officers arrested 51-year-old Harry Pahukoa III for the offenses of Commercial Promotion of Marijuana in the First Degree, Promoting a Dangerous Drug in the Third Degree, Promoting a Detrimental Drug in the Third Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor in the Second Degree.

His total bail was set at $10,000.00.
