Swingin’ Tiki Time Returns

It’s back. Following an enthusiastic turn out for “Swingin’ Tiki Time with Eric Gilliom” in its initial June incarnation, the event is now in full swing at Sugar Beach Events in Kihei. This unique blend of music, food and nostalgia recreates the feel of classic Hawaiian entertainment that local folks used to have at venues like Trader Vic’s. Gilliom and his All-Star Band return to the stage to play a medley of tunes, classic and current, while “Tiki-babes” Lia Krieg and Casey Murphy add spice to the proceedings.

The event offers tables with an ocean view and delivers an affectionate ode to the Golden Age of Hawaiian pop culture. In addition to the live performance, the Sugar Beach Events Chef Lee McBride is providing a gourmet menu and cocktails. Naturally, aloha and tiki-wear is highly encouraged.

Where else can you see Gilliom and his band shake things up as you eat Pineapple Upside down Cake, while a warm wave of nostalgia washes over you? “Swingin’ Tiki Time” is a special event for lovers of Hawaiian pop culture, great music, great food, hot babes, delicious umbrella drinks and tasty memories.
