West Maui brushfire burns mauka of Lahaina Aquatic Center

At 2:05 p.m. Saturday afternoon, firefighters responded to a brushfire reported near Shaw Street, in Lahaina. Lahaina firefighters arrived at 2:14 and found about an acre of grass and brush burning on the mauka side of the Lahaina Aquatic Center. 76-year-old woman pulled from waters off Wailea beach

At 10:37 a.m. this morning, emergency crews responded to a female pulled from the water at Ulua beach, in South Maui. When Wailea firefighters arrived at 10:42, they found bystanders performing CPR on the woman.
