Maui Police Seek Help in Locating Assault Suspects

The Maui Police Department is requesting assistance in locating the person(s) responsible for an assault that occurred on Friday, December 7 between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.

According to authorities, an adult male was assaulted in the parking lot of Saigon Palace at 310 Ho’okahi Street in Wailuku and once again along the roadway in front of Surf Truck Rentals on Ho’okahi Street.

The male suffered serious injuries requiring treatment, per MPD.

Maui Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards in the sum up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of people responsible for felony crimes; the recovery of stolen property or seizure of illegal drugs in felony cases or the capture of felony fugitives.

MPD reminds the public that they should not approach or attempt to apprehend any suspect.
