Tropical Storm Warning for Maui County Cancelled

As of 5 p.m. on Wednesday the Central Pacific Hurricane Center cancelled the Tropical Storm Warning for Maui County. The warning was also cancelled for Oahu.

Due to the weakening trend, acceleration, and southward shift of the track, tropical storm force winds have cleared Maui County and Oahu, according to the National Weather Service.

Tropical Storm Olivia was 145 miles west-southwest of Kaunakakai, Molokai as of 5 p.m.

The Maui County Emergency Management Agency say they will continue to monitor the situation.
