No Tsunami Threat Following 7.1M Mexico Earthquake

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says there is no threat of a tsunami to Hawai`i following a 7.1 magnitude earthquake that occurred about three miles east-northeast of Raboso, Mexico.

PTWC reports that the quake occurred at about 7:15 a.m. at a depth of 51 km.

The epicenter is 75 miles southeast of Mexico City.
