Maui Fair now accepting applications for their pie eating contest

On Saturday, October 7, Maui Fair’s 3rd Annual PIE COMPETITION is sure to bring out Maui’s tastiest, most mouthwatering pies that would make Martha Stewart jealous. Applications can be found under Attractions at www.MauiFair.com!

There will be two categories.  The Open Category is open to the first thirteen non-professional registered entries. Pies will be judged on taste, consistency (crust to filling ratio) and appetizing looks. Pie winner receives a Stay-cation and $250 cash!

The Chef Category will highlight our professional island chefs showing off their best recipe to win a cash prize of $150.  Judging criteria will be the same as the Open Category entries.

Contestants must bring their entries to the main Entertainment Tent by 11:30 am sharp. Judging will commence at 12:00 p.m. and conclude approximately at 2:00 p.m.  A complete list of rules & regulations and competition registration form can be found on www.mauifair.com.
