Pursuant to Section 91-3(a), Hawaii Revised Statutes, the Department of Water Supply of the County of Maui (the “agency”) hereby provides notice of a public hearing for the purpose of adopting new, proposed administrative rules entitled “Rules Relating to Water Service” and “Rules Relating to Water Meter Reservations”.
The Department of Water Supply will conduct a public hearing on the proposed administrative rules on May 31, 2017, at 2:00 p.m., at the Planning Conference Room, Kalana Pakui Building, 250 S. High Street, 1st Floor, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii 96793.
Copies of the proposed administrative rules may be viewed or downloaded from the Department of Water Supply web page at www.mauiwater.org and selecting the Rules & Regulations tab.
Any interested person may submit oral or written testimony on the proposed administrative rules to be adopted at the public hearing. Also, written testimony may be submitted by mail to: Department of Water Supply, 200 S. High Street, 5th Floor, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii 96793. Written testimony must be received by the Department of Water Supply before the public hearing closes on May 31, 2017.
