Shed Burns to the Ground on Kamaile Street in Wailuku

Firefighters on Saturday, April 8, 2017, extinguished a small shed structure that burned to the ground on Kamaile Street in the Wailuku Country Estates neighborhood.
Firefighters got the call at 11:27 a.m., with a Wailuku engine crew arriving at 11:37 a.m. A small shed structure had completely burned down and caught nearby macadamia nut and banana trees on fire. The fire was brought under control a short time later and called extinguished at 12:05 p.m.
Cause of the fire was undetermined. There were no witnesses available that could explain what had happened.
Damage to the shed was estimated at around $1,000.
