Three’s Bar and Grill set to reopen after renovations due to a structure fire

Just a little over one month since a kitchen fire forced the doors to close, Three’s Bar & Grill will be REOPENING on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 5 p.m. for dinner service, putting around 70 residents back to work!

Local contractors put in long hours to get the building back in working order, with co-owners Jaron Blosser, Cody Christopher and Travis Morrin providing hands-on help wherever possible. They were even able to keep some restaurant employees on the payroll, as they assisted with rebuilding efforts.

“We are super grateful to be back in business. It’s important to us and to our employees,” says Travis Morrin on behalf of the owners. “We want to send a special thanks to everyone who has been a part of the process, including: our faithful employees, Jeff and Evelyn of MW Group, all of the County of Maui departments, MFD for saving our restaurant, neighbor restaurants for lending a helping hand, Bargreen Ellingson for expediting replacement equipment, and all of our contractors for working around the clock to get us open — RVS Construction, Da Kyhn Services, Integrity Air, Wiki Wiki Electric, Remco, Maui Fire and Flood, and CDF Engineering. We also want to thank all of our vendors and insurance carriers for working with us through this challenging time. It’s time to open! Let’s cook!”

Customers may also notice some enhancements to Three’s, including new tile, paint, a custom mural in the dining room, and even a revamped menu! A few photos of the rebuilding process are attached to this email.

Three’s will be back open for regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. The restaurant is located in Kīhei’s Kalama Village at 1945 South Kīhei Road. Three’s invites diners to experience an epic breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring three cuisines — Hawaiian, Southwestern and Pacific Rim — using quality, locally-sourced ingredients.

The restaurant features a casual, island-style vibe, with a surf lounge, sushi bar, dining area and outdoor lanai. Diners can come enjoy the raw bar (11 a.m. to close), live music daily, and Three’s award-winning happy hour from 3 to 6 and 9 to 10 p.m. The owners are also happy to offer kama’āina rates and their community giveback program to benefit local nonprofits and causes.

Three’s is planning a Grand Reopening party within the next few weeks, as a big thank-you to the Maui community and media for its incredible support over the past month. Mahalo for helping to get the word out!
